שיח ירוק עד שגובהו בטבע כמטר אחד. גדל בכרמל, בגליל ובגולן. עליו ערוכים בזוגות או בשלשות. ענף כשר לסוכות הוא ענף שבו גדלים העלים בשלשות.
One of the four species
An evergreen shrub that can reach the height of one meter in its natural habitat. Grows in the Carmel, the Galilee, and the Golan Heights. Its leaves are long and grow in pairs or triples. Branches on which three leaves emerge are kosher to be blessed on Sukkoth.
